MISSION & VISION
My personal mission is to obey the Lord by using the passion and calling He has placed on my heart to urge people into right-relationship with Jesus Christ. I envision doing this by investing in people and building relationships as well as presenting the timeless Gospel in fresh and relevant ways. I have a passion and desire to see God exalted with His church representing Him with excellence and integrity.

ABOUT ME
I was born in July, 1979 to Rev. Paul and Sally Sheets in Easton, MD and grew up as a Wesleyan Pastor’s kid in Georgia, New York, and South Carolina. I responded to God’s call for vocational ministry in 1994 at the Wesleyan Youth Convention. In June, 2004, I married my best friend, Jessica Marie Garrett. In April 2006 we were blessed with the birth of our daughter, Ella Marie and in May 2009 the Lord blessed us again with the birth of our son, Ezra Paul.

DISTRICT EXPERIENCE
-
Western PA District
I have served on the District Youth Cabinet on this district as the "promotions manager" for our district youth events. I have created both print and web-media to promote our district camps, lock-ins, and other ministry opportunities.
-
Wisconsin District
In Wisconsin I served on our District Youth Cabinet working closely with our District Youth President on district youth camps. I also served as the promotions manager on various events through both print and web-media.
-
Indiana North District
I served on both the District Youth Cabinet and Sr. High Youth Camp Planning Committee while serving in the Indiana North District. My responsibilities included promoting district youth events with print and web-media as well as establishing a district youth website. Before leaving the district in 2007, I served on a District Task Force that gathered to brainstorm ways to bring our district communications up to par with the latest technology and trends.

DENOMINATIONAL EXPERIENCE
-
LOVE MERCY, Baltimore | Wesleyan Youth Convention | 2009
I was honored to have been a part of the planning team for our area-convention held in Baltimore, MD. I also served as the event's emcee and helped brainstorm and lead each main session.
-
SET APART | International Wesleyan Youth Convention | 2007
It was a pleasure to serve on the Promotions Team for this Youth Convention. I worked directly with Spiritual Formations Department staff to brand and promote the convention. On-site, I was the official 'convention blogger' and kept those who did not attend up-to-date on the happenings there in Orlando, FL.
