At 4PM, Jess and I met at the Kirkage Castle for our evening with the VanKirks.
We headed to Ft. Wayne and ate dinner at Logan’s steakhouse where we celebrated Matt’s 37th birthday! (He’s old, huh?) Logan’s waitresses even did the “Yee Haw” for him per our request! (video)
After dinner we hit up the mall and then on to the Anchor Room (Christian Bookstore) for some “browsing”. I picked up a new book (another Johnny Cash biography), a skate dvd, a Christmas CD (Jess contribution), and the 2005 Promise Keepers Worship album!
We had a great time with Matt & Jody tonight. The drive home was pretty exciting with even MORE snow falling and drifting into the roads! Can’t wait to see how much drifting takes place over night!
