Isn’t she absolutely beautiful?!
Her bilirubin level is down to 13! No more light, no more blood-draws, either! HURRAY & Praise the Lord!
More photos from today’s festivities can be found in two photosets here, and here.
Here are some of our favorites:

I am glad she is the “hat” lady and not the “bag” lady. Sooooooooooo cute!!!
Ella’s first fashion show was a huge success! What beauty, grace and composure. She is adorable!!!
This grandma’s heart is forever yours Ella!
Love, Grandma Garrett
She is getting even MORE adorable by the day, you guys! Maybe one day soon, she’ll allow you MORE sleep!!!!!
Hey guys! It all gets better (sleep, nursing, screaming, etc…) Hang in there with the nursing Jess – it’s worth it. Madelyn (15 weeks old) just started getting on a “schedule” recently, but she was 6 weeks early, so I’m sure Ella will beat that timing for sure. So happy for you all!
PS My advice for now: take all the help you can get for as long as you can! :)
Ella is so gorgeous! Very photogenic! Enjoy these days! Document everything! Even journal if you find a moment. At least you have this venue to record the precious memories that will one day be a shaddow in your heart. It won’t be long before you will be enrolling her at a Wesleyan University! **sniff**
As I was talking to our granddaughter, Melissa, about Baby Ella, I asked her to think of a name that we could call her. After
‘fidgeting’, and what I thought looked like she totally went into another zone, she said,
“Maa Maw, I know what we can call her….
ELLA ENCHANTED.” I was so excited, and my mind raced ahead with exactly how ‘enchanted’ Baby Ella is. God helped her to take that first breath at birth and created her so perfectly! She has what I think are ‘royal’ parents. Both Stev and Jess just born to be parents, so to speak. Then to have two sets of grandparents that sound to be totally enchanted with her…Wow!
What a BLESS’d child!!! As you can probably tell, those of us watching your website – we too are blessed to be able to witness the beauty and the ‘enchantedness’ of Miss Ella Marie. It is the second best thing to being there ourselves.
It is so good to hear that the adjustment period, for you all, seems to get smoother and smoother. We are praying for you and yours. Hugs from Aunt Bonnie
