Yesterday I had my first dentist-visit in over 10-years. I can’t actually remember the last time I went to the dentist, but I’m sure it’s while I was still in High School in South Carolina. Knowing that I graduated in ’97 that means it’s been 10+ years since my last cleaning!
I’ve never had any tooth-issues, no cavities, etc., so I wasn’t nervous about this visit even when I was told that I finally have my first cavity – a surface cavity that they will fill for me in a couple of weeks. The hygienist remarked that I didn’t have any plaque or tartar build-up and that she was surprised to know that it had been 10-ish years since my last cleaning!
Anyone who knows my “old” Mt. Dew habits should be amazed at my fairly clean bill-of-health in the dental-area!
OH MY!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thamkful!!!!! You definitely get that kind of teeth situation from your DAD!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thankful you got his kind of teeth!!!
Thank You Dear Lord, thank You!!
I have no cavities at 35 and my wisdom teeth are still in. A few years back a dentist told me she saw a cavity on my wisdom tooth and that I needed them pulled and my molars sealed. I got a second opinion and there was no cavity there. Still a gleaming smile! Dew will also mess up your brain.
