Isn’t it funny how the old television show “Bewitched” was considered “cute” by most Evangelical families and shows like “Charmed” and even “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” were boycotted? Hmm.
Anyways – tonight we watched Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell acting in 2005’s “Bewitched”. We both laughed occasionally and even thought the film was “cute”-ish at times.
The movie was entertaining, though I’m glad we didn’t have to pay more than our usual cable-bill to see it.
It’s worth noting in this review that I consider Nicole Kidman a “real” (as in legitimate) actress while I can’t say the same about Will Ferrell. He by known as a funny-actor, but when most of your “funny-ness” is inappropriate, I don’t think it says all that much about you as an actor. I was surprised to see the two of them in the same movie – and remember thinking, “What?” when I first saw previews of Bewitched. I’m guessing Kidman must’ve needed money back in 2005 when she agreed to stand next to Ferrell for the filming.
Definitely a watch-once and delete flick.
