We returned home this afternoon from a few days in Warrens, WI at the Wisconsin District “Getaway”. We had a blast!
We enjoyed meeting up with old friends and even making some new ones! For some reason we were in a handicapped room for the two nights and the shower (above) was awful short for ‘ol Stevan.
More pics here.
Ella missed us, too, but she had a trouble-free couple of days without Mom and Daddy thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Garrett! We arrived home to a happy-house and a clean-house, too!
Awkward moment of the weekend was being kissed on the cheek by Rev. Mark Wilson! Apparently my grandmother had asked him to “pass it on” after seeing him last week in Florida! Thanks Grandma!
Thank you for letting us babysit with Ella while you and Jessica took time away together. We loved being there and loved our time together with her.
We just arrived back home to Indiana an hour or so ago and already miss you all. On our drive home we giggled over many of the expressions and words Ella repeatedly did and said while we were there. (“Oh no”, “noodles yummy”,”ta da”,”where’d it go”,”apple where are you?” etc…etc…etc….and on and on!!)Genious ofcourse!
Also, I must say you and Jess are such wonderful parents. It shows through the actions and sweetnes of Ella. The routine of her bedtime, eating, bath time, etc..made everything go so smoothly and thats because of what you’ve taught her. We are so proud of our children and grandchild. Oh, but please don’t be too upset with Ella if she throws things in the bathtub. Just blame it on grandma because we kind of made a game of this after she looked at me and giggled once she threw it in. That belly giggle was just too cute for this grandma not to play along! :)
