Brett Favre is stepping down after 17-seasons of Professional Football.
This can only mean one-thing: he knows of the pending ‘end-of-the-world’ and is readying himself and his family.

This guy was more than a football player. Sports radio commentators are talking about how tired they were getting of people praising Favre for being a man playing with a kid’s enthusiasm. Comments like those just show how narrow-minded the commentators are. Favre’s enthusiasm and zest for football and life — even in times of tragedy (his father’s passing, wife’s cancer, his own painkiller addiction and treatment, etc.) — is a lesson to all of us. If only we all could be Christians in the same fashion Favre was a quarterback!
