Two days after we started here’s the finished project:
11-foot workbench, 11-foot storage above, two new 4-bulb halogen lights, mounted the lathe, mounted the bench-grinder, almost a full 4×8 sheet of pegboard and we’re rocking in the new workshop!

Isn’t it just the -I say coolest, you say SWEETEST thing- when we accomplish that goal. Since I have been feeling better, I have been accomplishing goals almost everyday. I think for me, who has been in what I call a semi-coma for at least 5-7 years, due to horrific and constant pain…it really is SWEET for me to get the smallest of projects accomplished. PLEASE, DON’T TAKE GOOD HEALTH AND PAIN FREE LIVING FOR GRANTED!!
That shop is awesome, dude. Cool even!!!
Old, but youthful at heart….
Papa Sweeny will be proud and need I say a little jealous when I show him the pics!!! He’s been working on getting a work area set up in our basement, but it’s a slow process.
It even looks like a real Pastors workbench. No vice! I’ll have to find one for you to have. Haha!
