You probably heard from your Uncle that we got a chance to preview this movie at the church a few weeks ago. It is extremely fascinating and well done. I will say it feels a bit uncomfortable in the opening minutes, mostly just because I think they tried to feel as un-documentary as possible and it just wasn’t done extremely well. But what Ben finds as he investigates is intriguing and definitely kept me interested the whole time. It’s definitely a movie worth seeing.
The producers decided to preview with us because they wanted to make a push similar to the Passion of the Christ, where churches rented out theaters and gave free screenings. Unfortunately I worry their push in the religious community will affect the movie’s ability to come off as unbiased, even though Ben Stein is Jewish…
