ING-DIRECT

ing.gifSome of you may know of our family-decision to begin the steps towards Financial Peace by participating in Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.

Step One of the program is to save $1,000 as an emergency fund.

We’ve done that twice now. :)

We’ve had to use it for two emergencies and we’re now building it back up a third time – each time it was a “life saver” because before the program, these “emergencies” would’ve gone onto a 15% interest-rate credit card. No more, Praise the Lord!

In our class we were directed to an online bank, “ING-DIRECT” to pursue a higher-interest rate yield on our Emergency Savings Fund.

It’s too good of a deal NOT to share with readers of stevansheets.com.

Chances are that your local bank is giving you a whole .5% on your crazy little savings account through them. ING, on the other hand, offers a whopping 3%! You’re reading that right! 3-percent. All you have to do is open up an account with them that directly links to your bank-account and they’ll confirm your information and you can start saving TODAY!

We’ve done this and opened our account with $250 which in turn they gave us an extra $25 into our account for opening with $250 or more. They’re also asking us to refer new members who may be interested and for every referral we give them they’ll give us another $10 in our account!

If you’re interested, at all, check them out at www.ingdirect.com; if you’re interested in opening an account with $250 or more, leave a comment and I’d love to send you a referral link to your e-mail that would in-turn, bless our family with another $10 towards our debt-free living!
