Bought Jess a new “True Identity” TNIV Bible today at Garden of Readin’. I’ve been eying it for a couple weeks and finally made the decision today to upgrade her Bible she’s been reading since High School!
She was very surprised and pleased!
Good work, me.
It was a new experience buying a Bible for someone else. Sure I’ve bought boxes of “giveaway” Bibles and the occasional graduation gift Bible, but buying a Bible for my wife really took some unique discernment, thought, and research.
If it’s true that women use more words everyday than the average man, then it is probably also true that their Bible’s need more words too – as noticed in these “women’s Bibles” with stories, ideas, and devotions scattered throughout!
Yes, there are many more words in it and I love it!
What a special gift you gave Jess! Way to go son-in-law!!
Love ya!
Oh yes, I am so proud of you for getting Jessica a new Bible! I also want to applaud you for buying her a long wanted tea pitcher from Tupperware! She is now Tupperware blessed! I love all four of mine!! No leakage while carrying it with you to church meals or picnics!! Great giftage son!!
Thanks for doing that for your wife!
If there be any truer measure of a man than by what he does, it must be by what he gives. (Robert South 1634-1716)
