Goodness gracious it’s been busy these last few days, weeks and months! I’ve been posting more linkage than I have “personal updates” – and I hope you’re enjoying those link-posts as much as I have enjoyed finding some of those gems.
The Sheets family is doing well these days – steadily growing into a family of 4 as Jess nears 24-weeks! Ezra or Emma (the names we have chosen for baby #2) is growing at a normal-rate and we have another ultrasound coming up in the next couple of weeks where hopefully we’ll find out which is tucked away there in Mommy’s belly.
Things at church have been going well. We are seeing an average of about 2-3 new students each month and just today finalized some planning to launch 2 small groups starting in April. I am in volunteer-hunt mode these days after some of our adult volunteers have moved on to other ministry-opportunities.
Jess continues to be my “right-hand-woman” every week and we are steadily building relationships with the students God has entrusted to us!
Ella is growing like a weed and learning new words (good-words) every day and comes up with the best phrases to communicate her thoughts. She loves to snuggle before bed and SHE read ME a book last night!
The snow here in PA is all gone at the present. A sad, ugly, dirty world has been left behind with the snow melting. I look forward to either MORE snow or Spring as soon as possible! Anything to cover up the ugly.
We’re heading to Hershey, PA next month for a Pastor’s and Spouses retreat. Can’t wait for that!
I also just successfully launched http://www.armbrustwesleyan.com just today! I am so thankful for cloversites.com – our new church website is built on the Cloversites “platform”. It’s amazingly simple to use and update (and not just for the youth pastor!).
Good job Stevan on launching the new church website. All you need now is some pictures of your staff (including you) :)
Hey Stev, Hershey isn’t too far from where we live (wink wink), so if you have time to drive alittle further (wink wink) you might be able to see our new house. Miss ya bud.
Glad all is well, I just checked out the new website…. WOW. That is incredible!! Sermons in audio AND print, bulletins, calendars, etc… and all up to date!! I always think it looks lame when there are tabs or clickables on Church or company websites that say something like,”updating soon, check back”. Why don’t they just get rid of that till its up!
Anyway, all that to say I am very proud of you for doing the job ALL the way.
U Rock.
I love you, too!:-)
