Tonight on the way to dinner we saw a ’95 Ford Ranger pickup just down the street from us!
Here’s the story – It’s a 5-speed manual transmission, has at least 2-different kinds of tires, has some “electrical problems” as the owner told me (the wipers turn on by themselves, and the radio doesn’t turn off), it’s got 184,000 miles, it’s currently owned by the second-owner.
I’m purposefully NOT posting the asking-price because I want those of you knowledgeable in used vehicles to let me know what you think it should cost?
A quick walk-around tonight (in the dark) revealed little-to-no rust, an inside that looked better than I expected, and Pennsylvania inspection stickers that are good through the end of February.
I’m hoping to drive it around the neighborhood this weekend.
Perhaps you should be asking how much they should pay you to take a Ford off their hands…just a thought.
Praying that things work out for the best!
I think I’m with Kory. But it’s probably not worth more than about 400 bucks.
Hey, just how many Jason blog followers do you have? I say drive it, listen to it, check the ranger forums about longevity of that engine, and see what the forums say about those electrical issues.
AND PRAY!
I would run…and don’t turn around.
