The gift was their old furniture to use in our basement! We had sent out a request for some basement-furniture via e-mail a few months ago and they replied quickly telling us that they were upgrading and would give us their old stuff including a loveseat, couch, and two recliners! We couldn’t wait!

When we got home yesterday we quickly ran down to the basement to see the furniture they had dropped off while we were out-of-state.

Boy were we surprised!

Little did we know that the furniture downstairs was MUCH nicer/newer than the furniture we had in our own living room! This evening I had the help of Eric Parsons to bring the couch and loveseat upstairs and the ‘old stuff’ back downstairs!

Last night, the Fantasy Football Season ended.

This year I played in a league called, “CRM” for CrossRoad Ministries – a league made-up by one of my students and including numerous students, Pastor Gerry, and Pastor Jason Butler – my friend and fellow district-pastor.

If you’ll look at the image below you’ll notice that yours truly, “Cotton Sheets” won the championship!
