This coming Sunday my message topic is “criticism”.
How fitting that today, randomly, someone (who probably doesn’t like Chick-Fil-A, either) decided to send me this lovely message on Twitter.

…we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts.
There seems to be a great new trend within the music label and artist community of releasing well-done (Adobe After Effects-created) “lyric videos” with their newly-released songs. I say “well-done” because the old way includes thousands of user-submitted versions that are often HORRIBLE (Windows Movie Maker-created).

If you’re like me this year, the $$$ you usually spend on fireworks for the 4th of July is being used elsewhere (us = beach vacation).
Thankfully I stumbled on this great video reminding me of a fireworks-like experience with supplies that we all probably have in our junk-drawers.

We’re heading to the beach in Florida in just a few days. There are MANY things I need to accomplish here in Shippensburg before then but I can’t help but also looking forward to some of what we’ll be experiencing while away on our family vacation on the Atlantic Ocean.
